What we offer

Programs designed for real life.

From the playroom to the classroom to the dinner table — our programs meet your child where they are, and bring families along for every step.

How we work

A team your family can actually feel.

01 — Assessment

It starts with truly knowing your child.

Before we recommend a single goal, a BCBA spends time with your family — observing, listening, and learning what matters most. We build programs around your child's strengths, interests, and the moments your family wants to make easier.

  • Comprehensive functional behavior assessment
  • Family-led goal setting that fits your day-to-day life
  • Insurance authorization & paperwork handled for you

02 — Therapy

Real progress happens in real life.

Whether at our center or in your living room, every session is play-based, naturalistic, and centered on what your child cares about. We collect data, but we never let it overshadow connection.

  • Naturalistic developmental behavioral interventions (NDBI)
  • 1:1 RBT support with daily BCBA oversight
  • Weekly progress reviews — you'll never be in the dark

03 — Family partnership

Parents are part of the team — always.

You know your child best. We bring clinical expertise; you bring everything else. Through regular caregiver training, transparent data sharing, and an open-door policy, we make sure you have what you need to keep growth going beyond our sessions.

  • Bi-weekly caregiver training sessions included
  • Parent dashboard with real-time goal tracking
  • Direct text/call access to your child's BCBA

What guides us

Compassion is our clinical model.

We practice ABA the way it should be practiced today — assent-based, neurodiversity-affirming, and built on dignity at every turn.

i.

Assent-based, always.

Therapy works when children want to participate. We read body language, honor "no," and design sessions children genuinely look forward to.

ii.

Strengths, not deficits.

We start with what your child can do, what they love, and what makes them light up — then build outward. Difference is not deficit.

iii.

Outcomes that matter.

Skills your family will actually use. Connection at the dinner table. A calmer school morning. Real outcomes — not just numbers on a sheet.

Family voices

The progress is theirs — we just help carry it.

The first time our son said "more, please" instead of melting down, my husband and I both cried. Behavior Recourse gave us our mornings back.

I've never worked with a clinic that treats parents like real partners. They text me wins, they listen to my worries, and they explain everything in plain English.

We toured six providers before we chose Behavior Recourse. The warmth was real — and a year in, it's still real every single session. They love our girl.

Common questions

What families ask most.

After your initial consultation, most families complete intake and begin therapy within 2–4 weeks. We handle insurance authorization, scheduling, and the paperwork so you can focus on your family.
We're in-network with most major commercial plans (Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Humana), Tricare, and state Medicaid. If you don't see your carrier listed, call us — we can usually verify benefits within 24 hours.
Modern ABA is naturalistic, play-based, and neurodiversity-affirming. We follow your child's lead, honor their autonomy, and measure success by skills that improve real-life moments — not by compliance.
Parents are central to everything we do. You'll have bi-weekly training sessions with your BCBA, real-time progress tracking through our parent dashboard, and direct contact with your child's clinical team. You're never on the outside looking in.
We serve children from 18 months through 12 years old. Our early intervention programs (ages 18 months – 5 years) are particularly well-developed; we also offer specialized older-child programming focused on social skills, executive function, and school success.
